Scrappy Island - Day 4

This first challenge was to do some weaving on a card. This LO was to be done after altering some chipboard or grungeboard - I cut out the wine glass, painted it with shimmering H20s. Then the LO needed to be about a party themed event.
This card is for SSZ - using products that start with the letter "C" - Christmas card using the cuttlebug, and the stamp is called 'envie full of cheer'

Scrappy Island - Day 3

Today's challenges were to complete a LO about my favourite thing - other than scrapbooking. I had played around with taking my own photograph a few weeks ago - and I decided to use it for the challenge. In the 'treasure chest' we found - we have lots of bling to use. The second challenge of the day was to create a tag with a creepy crawler - so I made a bookmark!

Some more cards

For the 2nd challenge of today - we needed to create a card of appreciation with the flower we made.. Isn't this cool? It is a stamp - that folds over and makes a card. It is adorable IRL - Angie is carrying these stamps!!
For SSZ - a challenge is to make something using the letter "S" - so here is my "S"tamp from "S"tamping Bella!!!

Lots to Share!

I had a great day at my crop, yesterday!!! 15 LO!! Mostly about Boston, but a few local/recent pictures, too.

Here are a few Christmas cards I made with a new stamp from Heathers....so cute!!

A challenge over at SSZ was to design a set of 3 cards...

FIL's bday is coming up.... :)

Scrappy Island - Day 1 - challenge #2

We are allowed the basic tool kit, from above and 2 pcs of patterned paper. Reward from doing the first challenge. Now, we were to use something in nature with ink or paint.
I got a daisy out of the garden and used my alcohol ink spray on it - to get the shape of the flower!

Day 2 - Our first challenge for today - is to MAKE a flower. We will be using it in a future challenge.

One week in..

I survived! School has started and I think I am going to enjoy my new position. It will be VERY busy and a steep learning curve - but I will manage. I have changed positions so many times over the last few years and I have always wanted to do a LO of me before I start. Each year passes, and it doesn't get done - but, this year I did it!! I worked on it on Labour Day - so it was done before the 'new year'.

I have also been working on the DT challenges from SSZ and a few *sigh* Christmas cards. I have recently bought a few new stamps, that encouraged me to get started! I will post these soon.

Thanks for looking!
