March Scrapshotz Reveal!
Here it is - as promised. It is my house that I grew up in. Now, that my mom has passed we have had to sell it. It closes March 30.
From SSZ: Our March kit features the laid back feeling of Saturdays, from Little Yellow Bicycle. Includes 8 BZ Cardstock, 8double sided PP, 1 die cut stitched paper, chipboard elements, fabric favorites, journal tear out book, Oct Aft Alphas, thickers, flower embelli kit. A more thorough photo to follow! Also includes the newest punch system from American Crafts!

why I've been MIA and some new cards and a LO
I don't really know how many people follow my blog and read my posts. However, I feel I need to give an explanation as to why I have been MIA for so long. I continued with my reveals for ScrapShotz as it kept my life somewhat normal and it took my mind of the things going on around me.
In mid Nov, my mom was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. She has beat cancer twice before. We thought she was going to get the chance to fight this one, too. However, it was not to be. I went down to care for her - 5 weeks at home and 3 weeks in Hospice. For the 5 weeks at home, I was the sole caregiver. I am an only child. My husband came down and helped on the weekend, but the weeks were very tough. We shared some amazing moments and I was truly given a gift to spend so much time with her. I have lots of memories, stories and photos to write and scrap about. My mom passed away on January 10th. We were at her side and it was very peaceful. It is so hard to believe she is gone. We were so very close. I miss her so much. I lost my stepdad in 2010.
